1666: Amsterdam at a glance
Welcome to the wiki
1666: Amsterdam is a third-person dark story-led action-adventure from Panache Digital Games, the studio founded by Patrice Désilets — co-creator of Assassin's Creed and director of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. Every 333 years, something stirs: in a reimagined Amsterdam, immortal Originals hide behind human faces, and Noa, The Collector, is the witch born to take their power back.
The game entered its public life at Summer Game Fest in June 2026 with a free Prologue, and Early Access begins August 25, 2026 on PC. It is a single-player game built around investigation by day and Esbat confrontations by night, with two radically different playable characters — a witch and a cat.

Early Access checklist
Before the Esbat comes
- Play the free Prologue first. It's 30 minutes and teaches Nux, Aaron and the companion choice.
- Check your GPU against the ray-tracing floor. The EA build requires 8 GB of VRAM and hardware ray tracing.
- Know the loop. Investigate by day, mark the Originals, confront them at night during the Esbat.
- Expect an evolving game. EA's first chapter is ~15 hours and the full 1.0 release is roughly a year away.
How this wiki is maintained
Source-checked, clearly labeled, regularly updated.
This independent wiki separates official facts from third-party reporting and open questions. Release, price, platform and system-requirement claims are checked against Steam, Epic, official announcements and reputable games press. Anything that can't be confirmed yet is labeled pending rather than guessed — and gameplay pages will be refreshed against the actual Early Access build after August 25.
